Hello! I'm here with a substitute comment for the ProjectComment comment tag game. The tag word was "emotion."
I chose this image because of the shape that the pony makes. A heart, such a powerful organ with powerful emotions in it. I may not be a fan of My Little Pony, but I have a few friends who are and I can say that you've captured the feel and style of the current series run. (The older My Little Pony had a very different style to it, I know that much.) While I am not a fan of the series, I don't know who the character is or if it is one of your own, but I will say that I really like the colors you've used, they work well together. I also really like that the page is lighter around the character compared to the edges of the page. Well done.
Some advice:
When inking, try not to go back over your lines so much, or perhaps take a little more time doing so. These lines are rather scratchy and look a little bit unprofessional. As for the coloring, perhaps you could try experimenting with different mediums to get a more solid looking color. The last thing I'd like to mention is perhaps you could experiment with shading. Under the legs and behind the head would have some more shading than the rest of the image.
